Shortly before Anime Expo 2006, AJ discovered a very cute manga called Her Majesty's Dog. In it, some rather overly blessed in the personality department spirit guardians could turn into humans. While the costumes were pretty simple, the story was very heartfelt and lovely. Plus, we found out the manga-ka would be at Anime Expo! What better way to welcome a rather unknown manga-ka to her first trip to the US, than cosplaying her series!
