"Fellowship Tattoos"
It is widely known that the main actors of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy got tattoos as a visible reminder of an experience they would never forget. They each had the Elvish symbol for "nine" inscribed as a reminder of their own "fellowship." And who can blame them, after two years of making friends and having life-changing experiences? We, the members of the One Ring Circus, also had an unforgettable experience. So, after all that work and stress and preparation, we celebrated by getting our very own "One Ring Circus" fellowship tattoos. Since our experience was quite a bit shorter, we opted for henna tattoos rather than permanent ink. The lovely and talented Ragani created our henna tattoos.  It is the elvish symbol for one, a circle representing the One Ring, and designs from traditional Indian Mendhi designs to represent "The Pitch" from Moulin Rouge. We are such dorks. ^_^

Back to One Ring Circus
The One Ring Circus experience was so fun for Leah (Samwise) that she
decided that she wanted to make the group's symbol permanent.  In
preparation for making the O.R.C. T-shirts she redesigned the symbol
slightly.  On August 4 she went to Marks of Art in San Jose and had the
symbol tattooed on her ankle.  Thanks Ragani for the original henna
design and KC for being a great tattoo artist!
