Okay, this was perhaps the most haphazard, not to mention fast, costume I've made to date. I was giving costuming panels at One Ring Celebration, one of which that was on hobbits. While I had helped others make several of their own hobbit costumes, I had yet to make one myself. It was perhaps two nights before the con, I pulled out all my fabric, grabbed everything that looked "hobbity" and threw it at my sewing machine. Not particularily proud of the craftsmanship, but it is an adequate hobbit costume. My only point of (well, not really) pride is that my feet are correct hobbit scale. Unfornately, they are my own darn feet. This is the only time being incredibly short, with incredibly long feet, has worked out for me... ever.
