Last year AJ and I had seen this gorgeous red and orange, as well as blue and black wide striped tafetta. It's always impossible to find the wider stripes, and this was a great find (and even on clearance!) I knew I had to make a bustle dress out of it! The hardest part, by far, was figuring out how I wanted to do the crosshatching. I had very little fabric left, not enough to do a front drape, and the crosshatching was my solution. Easier said than done, though!
